Presence at every stage of the supply chain is an important aspect of our growth strategy. To enable this, Petrafos Energy acquired its first Oil Storage and Blending Facility in Hamriyah, Sharjah, UAE in 2017.

Storage Tanks

The tanks are configured to handle both clean and dirty products. They have a direct connection to the outer berth with 12 meters draft and inner berth with 4 meters draft. This gives flexibility to berth the vessel as per size at desired jetties for full optimization of operations.

  • 20,000 CBM of storage capacity
  • 7 tanks ranging in sizes from 3400 CBM to 1900 CBM
  • Tank farm to handle Gas Oil, Base Oil, Naphtha
  • The shell plate thickness is based on product specific gravity and by 1-Ft method as per close API-650 American Code of Practice

Pipelines

All lines are engineered and erected suitably for cup-pigging facility for 100% cargo displacement

Ship Docks

  • Direct Pipeline connectivity with main harbour
  • Dock Infrastructure is capable of loading/unloading
  • Panamax/Suezmax size vessels with 12-meter draft

Land Loading Spots

  • In house electronic weigh bridge of 100 MT capacity
  • 4 truck spots for simultaneous loading/unloading of cargos of varied nature
  • Facility for road transport to unload the oil tankers directly to the tank.

Recovery

After oil is pumped, our maximum efficiency stripping system returns all oil in the lines to either tank or vessel.
